One of the most complete Victorian port streetscapes anywhere, a compact grid of limestone warehouses, chandlers and pubs between the fishing harbour and Victoria Quay, wrapped around the Esplanade Reserve's Norfolk pines. It is the single best walk in Perth with a dog, because the terraces, the harbour, the dog beach at South Beach and the breweries all sit within a couple of kilometres of each other.
๐ก Do it in this order: park near the Esplanade, walk the West End early, take the terrace lunch at Fishing Boat Harbour, then drop down to South Beach for the off-leash run once the sea breeze arrives.
