Most of Padstow's appeal is outdoors and dog-friendly: the working harbour, the estuary boat trips and the ferry across to Rock. Indoor attractions are more limited for dogs, but there is plenty to fill a day on a lead around the water.

A small marine conservation centre on the quay that rears baby lobsters for release back into Cornish waters, popular with families for a short indoor visit. It is an assistance-dogs-only attraction, so it is one to note if you are taking turns while one of you waits outside with the dog.
