Parks & Walks for Dogs in Olomouc

The most atmospheric of Olomouc's parks, a green ravine squeezed between the medieval walls and the Mlýnský stream, with willow-shaded paths and the botanical garden at one end. Leashed dogs are part of the daily promenade traffic.

Olomouc's grand central park, with plane-tree avenues, a music pavilion, palm greenhouse and broad lawns linking to Čechovy sady. Flat, shaded and busy with local dogs on leads from dawn onwards.

The wooded pilgrimage hill above the city, crowned by the baroque basilica, with forest trails fanning out towards the Nízký Jeseník foothills. Locals walk dogs off the formal paths here, and the zoo on the hilltop even admits leashed, muzzled dogs.
