Best Beaches in Neringa for Dogs

A wide white-sand Blue Flag beach on the Baltic side of the spit, reached by a 1 km boardwalk through pine forest and over the dunes from Nida village. The central guarded section bans dogs in summer, but walk 5 minutes north or south and you are on quiet sand with leashed dogs welcome.

A wide certified central beach 35 km north of Nida, reached by a forest path from the village. Quieter than Nida central, with a long stretch of leashed-dog-tolerant sand immediately outside the guarded bathing zone.

A peaceful sandy stretch on the Curonian Lagoon side at Preila, with a small fishing harbour and unobtrusive boat sheds. Sheltered, very shallow water and almost no crowds; an alternative to the wind-exposed Baltic side on rough-weather days.
