Nazaré has no train station inside the town itself: the closest CP stop is Valado dos Frades 5 km inland on the Linha do Oeste between Lisboa and Figueira da Foz. Inside town, the Funicular da Nazaré links the seafront Praia to the cliff-top Sítio and accepts pets in a carrier; Rede Expressos and Flixbus coaches run direct from Lisboa Sete Rios and Porto Campanhã. Bolt operates with a Pet filter in the region and is by far the most flexible option for a medium-to-large dog.
