How do I get to Monaco with a dog?

There is no commercial airport in Monaco. Most people fly into Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE), about 30 minutes away, then continue by train, bus or the coastal road. SNCF trains carry dogs for a flat fee of around 10€, with small dogs in a carrier and larger dogs muzzled and leashed.

Can I take a dog on Monaco's buses?

Small dogs in a carrier are accepted on the local CAM buses. Because the Principality is so compact and served by public lifts, many visitors simply walk everywhere with their dog rather than using the bus.
