Pet-Friendly Attractions in Liverpool

The UK's largest single collection of Grade I-listed buildings, the Royal Albert Dock combines a working dock with restaurants, shops, and three national museums. The waterfront promenade and the dock basin are entirely outdoor and welcome leashed dogs; museums are restricted to assistance dogs only.

The 5th largest cathedral in the world, looming over the Georgian Quarter with its Gothic Revival sandstone tower. The cathedral interior admits only assistance dogs, but the grounds, the sunken St James's Cemetery park behind it, and the Hope Street approach are all leashed-dog friendly and free to enter.

Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' installation puts 100 cast-iron figures across two miles of Crosby Beach, all facing the sea. Dogs are welcome off-leash on the entire stretch and the figures are reachable on foot at low tide; the walk between them takes about an hour from end to end.
