Dog-Friendly Parks & Green Spaces in Lanzarote

The vast protected volcanic landscape around Timanfaya, with the La Geria wine valley on its edge: black-lava fields dotted with vines growing in semicircular stone hollows. Leashed dogs are welcome on the marked tracks and along the bodega-lined La Geria road, though the Timanfaya bus-tour core is off-limits to pets.

Arrecife's central municipal park, a green oasis of palms, dragon trees and lawns between the city and the Charco de San Ginés lagoon, with shaded paths and benches. The most useful everyday leashed-walk green space in the island capital, away from the lava and the beach.

The flat coastal promenade linking Costa Teguise's beaches, from Playa de las Cucharas past Playa del Jablillo, with sea views, low palms and easy access to cafés. A calm, level leashed walk in the cooler morning and evening hours, with a couple of small dog-accessible coves along the way.
