A wild, wind-swept surf beach on the north-west coast, a vast sweep of golden sand beneath the towering Risco de Famara cliffs, with La Graciosa island offshore. A dramatic, low-key alternative to the resort beaches and a favourite leashed walk at low tide; the village of Caleta de Famara has dog-welcoming terraces and surf-school energy.
