Small dogs travelling in a closed carrier ride free; larger dogs need a half-price child ticket, must be leashed at all times, and may be asked to wear a muzzle if the vehicle is crowded. The rule applies identically on U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram, bus and regional trains within the RMV network.
