Dog-Friendly Parks & Walks in Český Krumlov

The 11-hectare Baroque Castle Garden behind Český Krumlov Castle, laid out in the 17th century by the Eggenberg family, with formal parterres, the open-air revolving theatre, a Cascade Fountain and shaded chestnut alleys. The free-access main alleys are a relaxed leashed walk with constant chateau views.

The town's everyday public park, also known as Jelení zahrada (Deer Garden), a quiet 4-hectare wooded strip along the river just south of the old town with paths under tall lindens, benches and a riverside playground. The most used dog-walking park by locals.

The Monastery Garden of the former Minorite and Poor Clares' complex on Latrán, reopened to the public after restoration. A peaceful walled herb-and-vegetable garden with benches, beehives and orchard paths, free entry during the day.
