Cathédrale Saint-Nazaire-et-Saint-Celse
Vieux Béziers / hilltop
The fortified Gothic cathedral of Béziers (begun 1215 on the site of a Roman temple, rebuilt after the 1209 Albigensian Crusade sack of the city) sits 60 m above the Orb on the hilltop, with a viewing terrace that looks across the river to the Neuf Écluses de Fonsérannes. The terrace and cloister are dog-friendly year-round; the nave interior admits only assistance dogs.
💡 Walk the panoramic terrace at sunset; the cathedral sits directly above the Pont Vieux and the Orb catches the last gold light, the single best photo spot in Béziers with a dog.
