Dog Parks & Green Spaces in Bath

Bath's largest urban park (23 ha), running directly below the Royal Crescent. The park has a designated off-leash area in the western section, a botanical garden (leashed only), bowling greens, and panoramic views of the Crescent's Georgian sweep. The Pavilion Café has a large outdoor terrace with water bowls.

A 9.6 km National Trust circular walking trail through woods, meadows and Iron Age forts on the hills above Bath. Free, open year-round, and one of the UK's most popular dog walks. Off-leash on the open meadow sections (livestock-free); leash near grazing animals and through the National Trust farmland.

Bath's only surviving 18th-century pleasure garden, where Jane Austen used to walk. The park is small but elegant, with the Kennet & Avon Canal cutting through it — a lovely starting point for a dog walk along the towpath all the way to Bristol if you have the time. Leashed dogs welcome throughout.
