Pet-Friendly Attractions in Antwerp

One of the world's most beautiful railway stations — a cathedral-like baroque confection of marble, glass, and iron dating from 1905. Dogs on leash are permitted in the main hall. The station interior is spectacular and worth visiting even if you're not catching a train. The surrounding streets (Diamond Quarter, Pelikaanstraat) are accessible with dogs.

The MAS (Museum aan de Stroom) is Antwerp's landmark waterfront tower, a striking stacked-blocks structure designed by Neutelings Riedijk. Dogs are not allowed inside the museum, but the exterior plaza, the rooftop terraces (free public access via external escalators), and the entire Het Eilandje dock area are fully dog-friendly. The rooftop offers 360-degree views over Antwerp and the Port.

Antwerp's main market square is one of the finest in Europe — the 16th-century Stadhuis (City Hall), the guild houses, and the Brabo Fountain create a spectacular ensemble. Dogs are welcome in the square. The nearby Cathedral of Our Lady (the tallest in Belgium) has a magnificent Gothic exterior fully accessible with dogs. The surrounding streets of the old town are all walkable with a dog.
