The world's northernmost Gothic cathedral and Norway's national shrine, built from 1070 over the tomb of St Olav, UNESCO-protected. The exterior, surrounding cemetery gardens and the Erkebispegården palace square are dog-friendly with leashed dogs free of charge. Interior admits assistance dogs only.
