Hondvriendelijke bezienswaardigheden rond Sliema

The signature Sliema experience is the kilometres-long coastal promenade walk that curves from Tigné Point past the Exiles foreshore all the way to the bays of St Julian's. It is flat, scenic and entirely dog-friendly on a leash.

Malta's UNESCO-listed capital is a 10-minute ferry hop from Sliema, and leashed dogs are generally welcome on the open-deck crossing. Once there you can wander Valletta's honey-stone streets, the Upper Barrakka Gardens viewpoints and waterfront, all dog-friendly outdoors.

This restored harbour-front peninsula combines open pedestrian plazas, historic Fort Tigné, and some of the best views back across the water to Valletta's bastions. Reached by the Tigné pedestrian bridge, it is a calm, traffic-free spot to stroll with a dog.
