Hondvriendelijke bezienswaardigheden in Pärnu

The pedestrian spine of the old town, lined with pastel wooden houses, baroque merchant manors, cafes and small shops. Leashed dogs stroll it comfortably, and many terraces along the way set out water bowls in summer.

The rebuilt timber beach promenade links historic bathhouses, art-deco cabins and wave-shaped benches along the bay. Dogs on a leash are welcome on the promenade year-round even when the central sand itself is off-limits in the bathing season.

The bastion moat park and the 17th-century Tallinn Gate, the only surviving Swedish-era town gate in the Baltics, form Pärnu's most atmospheric corner. Both are open-air and perfect leash territory, with the country's tallest fountain playing in the canal.
