Per raggiungere Gozo devi attraversare il canale dalla terraferma maltese, e la domanda pratica è sempre la stessa: come porti il cane con te, e come ti sposti una volta lì. Il traghetto Gozo Channel tra Cirkewwa e Mgarr è il collegamento principale e porta i cani sul ponte esterno, mentre la maggior parte dei viaggiatori con cane a Gozo usa un'auto per spostarsi.
