A rugged National Trust headland reached on a roughly four-mile circular walk from Mortehoe, jutting into the Bristol Channel with wide views to Lundy Island and grey seals often hauled out on the rocks below. It is one of the finest coast walks in North Devon and open to dogs year-round.
Off-leash zone: Keep dogs on a lead near the unfenced cliffs, the seals below, and grazing sheep, cattle and Exmoor ponies on the headland.
๐ก Start from the National Trust Mortehoe car park; the ground is rocky and exposed, so bring water and go steady on the descents near the point.
