Stare Miasto (Old Town) & Royal Route
Stare Miasto · Rynek Starego Miasta, Warszawa
Warsaw's Old Town (Stare Miasto) is one of Europe's most remarkable stories: almost completely destroyed in World War II and painstakingly rebuilt to look as it did before — earning it UNESCO World Heritage status. Dogs on leash are welcome throughout the Old Town square and surrounding streets. The Royal Route (Trakt Królewski) running south from the Old Town along Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat is a magnificent boulevard walk with historic palaces, churches, and café terraces — all dog-accessible.
💡 Walk the full Royal Route from the Old Town to Łazienki Park (about 3km) — one of the best dog walks in any European capital, entirely on pedestrian-friendly streets
