Toulouse's public transport network (Tisséo) operates the metro, tram, and buses. Dogs are NOT permitted on Tisséo services unless they are small enough to be carried in a closed bag or basket — a policy that Tisséo reconfirmed in 2025 after a public petition. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are exempt. This is one of the most restrictive dog policies of any major French city. For travelling with a medium or large dog, taxis and rideshare (BlaBlaCar) are the practical alternatives.
