Pet-Friendly Sights & Walks in Sitges

The 17th-century baroque parish church perched on the rocky promontory between Platja de la Ribera and Platja de Sant Sebastià, with its octagonal bell tower and ceramic roof. The exterior viewing terrace is the most photographed spot in Sitges; leashed dogs are welcome on every external terrace, square and cliff walkway around it.

The 2 km palm-lined seafront promenade that links the Aiguadolç port at the east end with Platja de l`Estanyol at the west end, passing the Sant Bartomeu cliff church, the central Bassa Rodona beach and the Terramar gardens. Flat, traffic-free for most of its length, fully accessible and the city`s default sunset dog walk.

The medieval old town wraps the rocky promontory in narrow, mostly pedestrian streets that lead to the Palau Maricel and Museu del Cau Ferrat complex (the Santiago Rusiñol modernist studio-house). Museum interiors are assistance-dog only, but the seafront terrace, the small Plaça del Baluard and the cliff-side walkway between Sant Sebastià and Sant Bartomeu beaches are all leashed-dog walks with sea views.
