A comfort-food cafe on Alberta Street, open since 2002, built around two garden patios with a stone fireplace and a herb garden. It is the address most Portlanders name first when asked where to eat with a dog, and the one that put a printed dog menu on the table.
🐾 Dogs are welcome on the all-weather patio. The house rule is that every dog, whatever its size, stays on a leash and on the ground, never on a bench, a chair or a lap. You may bring your own blanket or bed, and water stations are set out on the front sidewalk.🕐 Daily, breakfast through dinner. Check the cafe's site before travelling, the closing time shifts with the season.⭐ The dog menu, which serves chicken, ground beef or pork with rice or sweet potato in a dog bowl, plus a peanut butter and banana ice cream for dessert
