Dog Parks & Green Spaces in Naples

A terraced cliff-top park on Posillipo offering some of the most spectacular views in Naples — Vesuvius, the Gulf, and the islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri. Wide paved walking loops, benches, shaded pine avenues, and an Area Cani fenced dog run near the upper terrace.

A 134-hectare royal woodland behind the Capodimonte Palace, the largest green space in Naples. Oak and chestnut groves, 5 km of walking paths, and a strictly-enforced leash rule — there are no off-leash zones but the shade is generous and the air markedly cooler than the city below.

Naples' 18th-century seafront public garden stretching 1.3 km between Piazza Vittoria and Piazza della Repubblica. Fountains, cafés, the historic aquarium, and wide benches under magnolias — the classic choice for a short-leash city walk in Chiaia.
