Modena is on the Bologna–Milan high-speed corridor. Frecciarossa from Bologna 30 min, from Milan 1h45, from Rome 2h45. Regional trains link Verona (1h30), Reggio Emilia (15 min) and Parma (35 min).
🐾 Small dogs (up to 10 kg) in a carrier travel free. Larger dogs accepted on lead and muzzle with a pet ticket (50% of 2nd class adult fare). Not allowed in 1st class or Frecciarossa Executive.
💡 Italo has friendlier pet rules: dogs of any size accepted with a fixed pet ticket (~10 EUR), no muzzle required if in a carrier.
