Dog-Friendly Attractions in Las Palmas

The historic main square of Vegueta, in front of the Cathedral of Santa Ana, guarded by eight cast-iron dog statues installed in 1895 and named after figures from Canarian history. It is an open pedestrian square in the oldest part of the city, easy to combine with a walk through Vegueta's cobbled streets.

A 15th-century fort in a rose garden and park near the port, popular with local dog walkers for its open lawns and Atlantic views. The castle itself now houses an art foundation with a separate opening schedule, but the surrounding park and the exterior walls are freely accessible.
