The 2,300 m Nordkette ridge directly above Innsbruck, reachable by Hungerburgbahn funicular + 2 cable cars (dogs free, 25 min from city centre). Endless trails from Seegrube (1,905 m) to Hafelekar (2,256 m), off-leash territory in summer. The Hungerburgbahn funicular runs every 15 min from Congress station.

Innsbruck's central royal garden, 10 hectares of landscaped park with a glasshouse pavilion, mature trees and shaded paths. Leashed dogs welcome year-round. The southern lawn is the locals' Sunday afternoon dog gathering.
