Großer Garten
Strehlen / Altstadt · Hauptallee, 01219 Dresden
Dresden's central baroque park, laid out in 1676 and now 147 hectares of straight allées, water features, and shaded lawns. Dogs must be leashed throughout the park itself and the Botanical Garden is closed to dogs, but the park is the city's most accessible green walk and the Carolasee café terrace welcomes dogs.
💡 Enter at the Hauptallee — the central avenue is shaded and dog-stroller friendly. Avoid the Botanical Garden gates: dogs are turned away.
