Getting to & Around Deauville with a Dog

Deauville is one of the easiest coastal escapes from Paris with a dog. Direct trains from Paris Saint-Lazare reach Deauville-Trouville in about two hours, and SNCF carries dogs for a small flat fee: little ones travel in a carrier on your lap, larger dogs muzzled and on the lead. Once there, the town is flat and walkable, so most visitors barely need transport, and the short crossing of the Touques links Deauville to Trouville on foot. Local Nomad buses take small leashed dogs, and taxis carry dogs at the driver's discretion.
