Brest's main supervised city beach on the Rade de Brest, in front of Océanopolis and the marina. Fine sand, sheltered swimming and easy bus access from the centre. Dogs are banned in summer when the lifeguards are on duty but the beach reopens to leashed dogs from October 1 to May 31.

💡 Outside the bathing season the eastern end nearest the marina is the most sheltered from the prevailing south-westerly, ideal for a swim with an Atlantic dog in autumn.
