Pet-Friendly Parks in Bari

Bari's largest urban park (52,000 m2), opened in 1987 around a former agricultural estate, with a lake, century-old olives and pine groves. Fenced off-leash area at the Viale Einaudi entrance, dogs on leash welcome throughout the rest of the park.

A recently reborn city park (10 hectares opened in stages 2022-2024) on the former Rossani barracks, with two fenced off-leash dog areas opened in 2023. Modern lighting, drinking fountains, and a frequented evening gathering point for Bari dog owners.

A long coastal pine forest stretching along the northern Lungomare toward Fiera del Levante, the city's main shaded summer dog-walking corridor. Leashes required, but the sandy under-pine ground and constant sea breeze make it the kindest walk on hot days.
