A Grade II-listed traditional Robinsons pub dating to 1683, tucked off the main road with a real fire, bench seating and a well-kept range of cask ales. Dogs are welcome throughout, with water bowls always on hand, though there is no food menu, so it is a drinks-and-a-rest stop rather than a meal.
๐ก There is no kitchen, so eat elsewhere and come here for the ale and the atmosphere; the multiple small rooms mean there is usually a quiet corner for a tired dog.
