Plages qui acceptent les chiens à Tarifa

Tarifa`s vast 10 km flat-sand beach, backed by dunes and the Punta Paloma headland in the distance. Out of bathing season the wide sand is one of Spain`s best places to walk a dog at sunrise; in summer, dogs are restricted to the unsupervised northern stretches well away from the bathing flags.

The legendary kitesurf and windsurf beach below the Punta Paloma dune, with shallow turquoise water, the famous Tumbao chiringuito and a wide sand expanse that absorbs even busy days. Dogs are welcome out of bathing season at the owner`s judgement; in summer keep them well clear of the kite launch zones.

A wide white-sand bay backed by the giant Bolonia dune and the Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia, in a protected natural setting. Dogs are accepted on a leash out of bathing season along the whole beach and year-round on the quieter ends away from the central supervised zone.
