Fuschlsee (dog-accessible shore near Fuschl am See)
The Fuschlsee is a small, exceptionally clear Alpine lake in a forested valley east of Salzburg, easily reached by car (30 min) or by ÖBB bus from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof. The main village beach (Gemeindebadesee) bans dogs from June to August; the eastern shore accessed via the forest path from Fuschl am See village is informally dog-friendly year-round. The water temperature is cold even in summer (max 22°C). The forest paths around the lake make a superb 10 km circular dog walk.
Règles : Dogs banned from main Badestrand June–August. Forest shore access informal and generally permitted. Dogs must not disturb the protected reed beds on the north shore.
