Plages acceptant les chiens à Conil de la Frontera

Conil's two central beaches: Los Bateles is the long, urban town beach with a promenade of bars, while neighbouring Fontanilla is slightly calmer and family friendly. Both ban dogs from June 1 to September 30, but welcome leashed dogs the rest of the year, making them lovely off-season walking beaches.

Conil's largest and most popular cove, a sheltered crescent of fine sand tucked between low cliffs with turquoise water, ideal when the poniente wind is up. Like the town beaches it is closed to dogs in summer but a sheltered off-season walk from October to May on leash.

A wild, wide Atlantic surf beach stretching for kilometres, the region's top spot for surfing and long sunset walks. It is not an official dog beach and dogs are banned in summer with fines possible, but outside July and August it is a superb open beach for an off-season leashed walk.
