Mont Saint-Clair and Notre-Dame de la Salette
Mont Saint-Clair summit (175 m)
The 175 m wooded hill rising directly above Sète crowned by the small Notre-Dame de la Salette chapel and a panoramic viewing terrace looking across the Étang de Thau, the Mediterranean, the Camargue and the Pyrenees on clear days. Free public access via the Mobilité bus line 5 or a paved 30-minute walk up the Chemin du Belvédère. Dog-friendly year-round.
💡 Climb at sunset; the Mediterranean turns pink, the Étang de Thau goes molten silver, the Pointe Courte fishing fleet returns to harbour and your dog watches it all from the empty terrace.
