The 11th, from Bastille to Republique via Oberkampf and Charonne, is a young, lively arrondissement and one of the most dog-friendly in central Paris. The Square de la Place Pasdeloup was opened to dogs in December 2025, and the Square Maurice Gardette, Square de la Roquette and Square Jules Verne provide neighbourhood green pockets. Nightlife streets are intense but side streets stay calm.
