Dog Parks & Green Spaces in Cordoba

Cordoba's largest urban park (37 ha), a short walk south of the historic centre. Features a fenced Área de Esparcimiento Canino (off-leash zone), wide tree-lined avenues, fountains, and a small lake. Locally beloved for early-morning dog walks before the summer heat builds up.

A protected riverbank natural area along the Guadalquivir river just below the Roman Bridge. Designated Natural Monument with a 2 km riverside walking path; leashed dogs welcome. Wildlife (herons, mallards) so dogs stay on leash. Sunset views of the Mezquita are exceptional.

The Sierra Morena foothills 15 min north of Cordoba — pine and oak forest with marked trails, the Lagar de la Cruz reservoir for dog swimming, and significantly cooler temperatures than the city below. Off-leash on most marked trails (livestock-free); essential summer escape.
