A spectacular natural sea pool carved into the tuff promontory of Capo di Sorrento, fed by the open Tyrrhenian through a rocky arch, beside the ruins of the 1st century BC Roman Villa of Pollio Felice. No sand, only rock platforms; reached by a 700 m flat path from the SS145 bus stop. Free public access year-round, no facilities, leashed dogs welcome on all the surrounding rock platforms.

A 400 m grey-pebble cove between two small headlands on the road west to Massa Lubrense, the closest sand-and-pebble beach to Sorrento centre with parking and beach service. Free public stretches at both ends welcome leashed dogs year-round; the central paid lido sections (June-September) restrict pets to the free zones.

A 600 m grey-pebble bay at the foot of Nerano village on the southern Tyrrhenian face of the Sorrentine Peninsula, with crystal-clear water and direct views across to Capri and Punta Campanella nature reserve. Calmer than the Amalfi Coast crowds, the SITA SUD bus from Sorrento (45 min via Massa Lubrense and Termini) drops at the village. Free public stretches at both ends welcome leashed dogs year-round; the central paid lidos restrict pets to free zones June-September.
