Praias dog-friendly perto de Pafos

A small, safe, officially designated dog beach in the village of Achelia, northwest of Paphos International Airport, where dogs are allowed to run and swim. It is the closest official dog beach to the city and the only legally reliable seaside swimming spot for dogs in the immediate Paphos area.

The popular city beaches such as the SODAP/municipal beach in Kato Paphos and Coral Bay are NOT designated dog beaches, and dogs are banned under Cyprus sanitary rules. These are useful to know precisely so you can avoid an on-the-spot fine of around 85 euros.

A remote, officially dog-friendly beach near Kato Pyrgos at the far northern edge of the Paphos district, where dogs can swim safely with almost no crowds. The long drive makes it a day-trip option rather than a casual outing, but it is genuinely dog-legal.
