Praias dog-friendly em Mojácar

Mojácar's first official dog beach, opened in 2025, a roughly 118-metre stretch of coast in the Perulejo area beside the historic Macenas watchtower, within the protected Sierra de Cabrera-Bédar Natura 2000 zone. It is fitted with dog showers, bins with bag dispensers and shaded areas, and dogs can swim here at the owner's own responsibility, as it is excluded from the official bathing-waters list.

A quieter, natural beach at the southern end of Mojácar beneath the historic Castillo de Macenas watchtower, popular with locals seeking seclusion away from the resort crowds. It sits right beside the new dog beach, and in the off-season (roughly November to March) dogs have traditionally enjoyed more freedom on this stretch.

The central Blue Flag beaches along the promenade, including the lively Playa del Cantal, the long wide Playa de las Ventanicas and Marina de la Torre, are the heart of Mojácar Playa with chiringuitos and full facilities. Dogs are not permitted on these bathing beaches during the summer season, but the adjacent flat promenade is an easy leashed walk year-round.
