Falmouth's main beach, a wide crescent of golden sand right on the seafront below the town, backed by a promenade and a cafe. It is the busiest and most accessible beach, with the longest seasonal dog ban, so in high summer it is an early-morning and evening dog beach.
📅 Summer daytime dog ban: no dogs 15 May to 30 September, 10am to 6pm. Dogs welcome before 10am, after 6pm and the rest of the year.
Rules: Outside the ban dogs are welcome on a lead; a 100-pound fine applies for breaking the seasonal restriction, so walk it early or late in summer.
