Meilleures plages pet-friendly à Taormine

The year-round designated dog beach on the Letojanni sandy coast, a marked stretch on the long Letojanni strand 5 km north of Taormina, with a small beach bar that opens summer only. Sand and small pebble entry, calm Ionian water, shallow swim zone safe for dogs. Reached by 10 minutes by car or Interbus regional bus from Taormina coach terminal.

Taormina's iconic pebble beach paired with the tidal-causeway islet of Isola Bella (regional nature reserve, pearl of the Mediterranean). Reached by the 5-minute Funivia from the centro storico. Mostly occupied by paid lidos in summer; free public stretches at the eastern end (Spisone side) and around Isola Bella. Leashed dogs admitted on the free public stretches outside the bathing season (October to April).

A pebble and small-sand crescent immediately north of Mazzaro, separated by a tunnel under Capo Sant'Andrea, with quieter free public stretches at both ends and a couple of mid-range paid lidos in the centre. Backed by the Capo Sant'Andrea cliff with Taormina centro storico 200 m above. Reached by Interbus regional bus from Taormina coach terminal in 10 minutes.
