Plages dog-friendly à Piran et alentours

The Fiesa coves east of Piran are a series of small pebble and concrete-platform bays separated by rocky headlands, with a freshwater lagoon just inland. The eastern cove has a designated dog section where leashed dogs can swim from a small pebble beach in clean, calm Adriatic water sheltered from the wind. The cove is reached on foot via the Punta-Fiesa coastal walk (about 30 minutes from Tartini Square) or by car from the Lucija side. Verify exact zoning with the Tourist Board Piran each season.

Mesečev zaliv (Moon Bay) sits below the highest flysch cliffs on the Adriatic inside the Strunjan Landscape Park. The bay reaches about 200 m of pebble and rock shoreline below the cliff, accessed by a steep marked path from the cliff-top trail. A dog-permitted section is signposted at the eastern end of the bay outside the main bathing area (zoning is reviewed annually by the park authority, verify with parkstrunjan.si or the Tourist Board Piran). The water is exceptionally clear thanks to the protected NATURA 2000 status.

The Lucija dog beach is a small pebble and concrete-platform section at the far eastern end of the wider Portorož bay, signposted by the local municipality and the only formal dog-permitted swim entry inside the Portorož resort strip. The beach is calm, shallow at entry, and reachable by foot from Piran along the seafront promenade in about 35 to 40 minutes. The water is clean and warm in summer (the warmest part of the Slovenian Riviera).
