A 2 km wide-sand Belle Epoque strand running east from the Casino de Dunkerque along the Digue de Mer of Malo-les-Bains, with 19th-century villas, beach huts and views east to Leffrinckoucke and Zuydcoote. The central July-August lifeguarded zone restricts pets; the eastern end towards Leffrinckoucke and the western end towards the Port-Est welcome leashed dogs year-round.

A 3 km wider, quieter beach east of Malo-les-Bains along the Leffrinckoucke seafront, with the 19th-century Fort des Dunes (built 1878-1880 by Séré de Rivières, a key Operation Dynamo 1940 evacuation defensive point) on the dune ridge above. Backed by the western edge of the Réserve Naturelle Dune Marchand. Leashed dogs welcome year-round; small summer lifeguard zone at the Leffrinckoucke village centre.

A 4 km wide-sand strand at the easternmost edge of France, backed by the Dune du Perroquet and reaching the Belgian border with De Panne 1 km east. The widest beach on the Côte d'Opale at low tide (up to 500 m of sand exposed), with sand-yacht and kite-surf room, and the unmanned Franco-Belgian border crossing on the GR130. Leashed dogs welcome year-round outside the small July-August lifeguarded zone in the Bray-Dunes village centre.
