A long, wild natural beach of dark sand at the foot of the protected Montaña Roja, one of the most unspoilt strands in the south. It is not an official dog beach, so check current Ayuntamiento rules before bringing a dog, but the open natural surroundings and the coastal path from El Médano make it a scenic leashed walk out of bathing crowds.

The long landscaped promenade linking the Costa Adeje beaches (Fañabé, Torviscas, El Duque) is one of the most enjoyable leashed seafront walks in the south, with cafés, palms and sea views the whole way. The beaches themselves are busy resort sand where dog access is restricted, so use the paseo for walking and the El Médano dog beach for sand time.
