A long, sheltered estuary beach at the mouth of the Ría de Muros e Noia, officially listed as a dog-friendly beach by the Santiago de Compostela tourism board. The shallow waters and gentle gradient make it ideal for nervous swimmers and small dogs. The estuary is famous locally for cockles and clams, ask staff at nearby Noia restaurants for a post-beach meal that welcomes pets on the terrace.

Two adjacent dog-designated beaches on the inner Ría de Muros e Noia, in the municipality of Outes, both listed on the official Santiago tourism dog-beach map. Bitureira is a small sheltered sandy cove ideal for swim training, and Siavo nearby is rockier and quieter, popular with locals who want to escape the busier estuary beaches.

A small purpose-built dog beach next to the Pita shipyard in Vilagarcía de Arousa, set up by the municipality in summer 2016 and one of the few in Galicia with proper dog infrastructure. It has a freshwater rinse fountain, benches, waste bins and a low fence to keep dogs from straying onto the adjacent commercial beach, making it the most family-friendly option for nervous dog owners.
