A quiet, dramatic cove tucked under tall green cliffs in the Livathos region, mostly rock and pebble with clear water good for snorkelling. It is tranquil and uncrowded, with unusually for a wild beach a shower and some shaded canopied tables that help keep a dog out of the sun.
Normas: Dogs leashed on land. Keep clear of other visitors and out of the water when swimmers are nearby. Pick up after your dog.
A narrow grey-sand strip with shallow water beside the scenic lighthouse promenade, just past the Katavothres watermills on the edge of Argostoli. It works best as an in-town dog walk and paddle stop rather than a full beach day, and is steps from several dog-welcoming hotels.
Normas: Leash mandatory. Keep your dog out of the water when bathers are present and defer to other walkers; busiest on summer evenings.
