Playas para perros en Gandía

A wild, natural dune beach north of the Grau, much quieter and less built-up than the main beach. A roughly 300-metre dog area (Playa Can) has been trialled here in the past, but it has been suspended in several years because of the protected dunes and Blue Flag rules, so confirm with Gandía's town hall before relying on it.

The broad, blue-flag main beach at the Grau, with fine golden sand and the long seafront promenade running its full length. Dogs are banned from the sand during the bathing season, but the adjacent promenade stays open to leashed dogs all year, giving a long flat walk with sea views.

The quieter southern continuation of Gandía's main beach, with the same wide golden sand but fewer crowds. As part of the Gandía coastline it falls under the same ordinance, so dogs are off the sand in summer but can enjoy it in the cooler off-season months.
