Baño pet-friendly en Bled y alrededores

The western and northern shores of Lake Bled, accessed by walking the lake circuit anticlockwise from the Park Hotel, have several informal gravel and pebble entry points where dogs can swim in clean alpine water outside the marked bathing perimeters. The water is calm, the shore is shaded by forest, and on weekday mornings outside July-August you may have entire stretches to yourself. No facilities, bring water and a towel.

A larger, wilder alpine lake inside Triglav National Park, ringed by mountains and far quieter than Bled. The southern shore (Ukanc end) and the eastern shore beyond Ribčev Laz have several pebble bays where dogs can swim in pristine water. Bohinj is colder than Bled (17 to 20 degrees Celsius even in summer) and crystal clear. Dogs must be on a leash everywhere in Triglav NP, and from April to October the leash rule is strictly enforced. Out of peak season this is one of the most beautiful dog swims in Slovenia.

The Sava Bohinjka river flows from Bohinj down past Bled toward Jesenice and has several swimming holes along its course, particularly between Bohinjska Bistrica and Bled. The water is glacier-cold and almost transparent, with gravel beaches and shaded riverbanks. Local dogs love it on hot summer days when the lake feels too warm. Informal access at several pull-off points along the regional road.
